Taper Shank P62 Machine Reamers

The P62 Reamer has a special combination 45° chamfer and 1-1/2 inclusive taper cutting lead. 

This combination head coupled with the quick left hand spiral flutes obviates any scoring of the reamed hole and gives a free positive cutting action to the direction of cut.

The polished flutes plus super finished lands prevent chip adherence.

The precision ground cutting head ensures perfect concentricity and size. High surface finish is obtained in all materials, particularly stainless steels, high tensile steels and light alloys.

CUTTING SPEEDS AND FEEDS: Normal speeds and feeds as for conventional high speed reamers are recommended. (Half drill speed x up to double drill feed for particular material.)

MACHINING ALLOWANCE: .008-015" up to 3/4" diameter, .010 to .025 over 3/4" diameter.

COOLANT: Special coolant unnecessary. Soluble oil, paraffin, cutting compounds, as normally would be used for particular materials are recommended.
